God has endowed all children with unique abilities and potential. Within a disciplined, caring atmosphere,
students grow to fulfill the possibilities of God's promise.

Alpine Academy was founded on the ideal that children who are enriched spiritually and academically have a
dedication to lifelong learning and are well prepared for their journey towards a successful adulthood.

With small classes, our students are provided with the individualized attention, they need to achieve their
academic and spiritual potential. A strong curriculum in reading, mathematics, science, language arts, social
studies, and religion prepares the child for the demands of middle and high school.  Our students are proud that
they test 1-3 grade levels above the national average.  In addition to the core curriculum, each child receives
weekly classes in computer technology, physical education, music, art and Spanish.

Monthly social activities are planned for our families such as Fun Fair, Muffins for Mom, Donuts for Dad,
Grandparents Day, Fall Festival, Sock Hop, Christmas and Easter Program, Young Authors, Health Fair, Science
Fair and an Appreciation Dinner.

Other amenities include orchestra and band lessons at no extra charge; before care, aftercare and holiday care
and summer camp.

Alpine Academy is a private, independent school with a Lutheran philosophy operated by Alpine Lutheran
Church. We are accredited through North Central Lutheran and registered with the Illinois State Board of
Education.  We welcome students of any religion, race, national and ethnic origin. Many of our students come
from a variety of religious backgrounds.

Located at 5001 Forest View Avenue in Rockford (just east of Alpine Road between Charles and Newburg),
Alpine Academy boasts an excellent facility featuring modern classrooms, an all-purpose room, gymnasium, state
of the art computer lab, and athletic facilities.

Currently we support an enrollment of nearly 130 students and a teaching faculty of over 20 teachers, teacher's
