FAQ
Alpine Academy is a private, non-denominational, Christian school. We have a preschool program for 3 & 4 year olds,
part time or full time and Kindergarten through 6th grades. Currently we support an enrollment of nearly 110 students
and a teaching faculty of over 20 teachers, teacher's aids, and instructors.

As a parent, you encourage your children to eat their fruits and vegetables because we know that will make them
healthy. So will the type of school they attend.  What your child learns in elementary school is the foundation for
becoming a successful and well rounded adult.  In order for you to select the right school for your child, here are some
questions you might want to ask.

What is the average class size? Do they have multiple grades in one classroom?
The average class size is 14 students and some classes have an aid to assist the students and teacher.  We do not have
any combined grades in one class.

Are the teachers certified?
Yes. Our classroom teachers are exemplary and fully certified with the Illinois School Board of Education.

Does the school have a strong curriculum?
Yes, our preschool through 6th grade has a strong core curriculum
in reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and religion.

Where do the students test compared to the national average?
Our students test 1-4 grades above the National Average and Rockford 205 .

Is the tuition competitive? Are there payment options? Do they have
financial aid?  Do they have a multi-student discount?
Yes to all four questions.  When you compare our tuition to same size and amenities schools, our tuition is very
competitive.  There are many payment options available; monthly, per semester, or annually.  Financial aid is available
through our United Fund for those who qualify.  The multi-student discount is as follows: 2nd student 10% off, 3rd and
4th student 50% off.

How can I lower my tuition?
1. We have a $200 finder’s fee for each new student you bring into our school. For every new qualified student you get
enrolled in our school, before September 10, 2011, we will automatically reduce your tuition by giving you an
immediate $200 credit. We reserve the right to qualify students according to appropriate grade placement and testing,
if needed.  They may not be members of your immediate family (siblings) since any child over one in a family already
receives a discount. The new student must stay enrolled for at least 9 months, and their tuition must be kept up to date.
Should they not meet these stipulations, you will be back-charged $200.00 per student.

2. After the enrollment reaches 118 students, each and every Alpine Academy family will receive a rebate. Seventy
percent of that income will be divided among our Alpine families and 30% will be credited back into our budget for
school improvements.

Are there any hidden fees?
