Measure time using calendars and analog and digital clocks to the hour and half-hour.
Distinguish similarities and differences of 2 and 3 dimensional shapes.
Construct symmetrical figures.
Name coins (penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar) and their values and solve addition and
subtraction problems using currency.

Social Studies

Define family, neighborhood, town and city and their properties.
Compare country (farm) to town and suburb to city.
Create a time line through historical inquiry.
Realize which, when and why issues and events are celebrated.

Religion

Discuss roles of people in the Bible.
Learn God’s laws.
Discover how we can apply Jesus’ teachings to our lives.
